    Easy Print


    Hello
    I am unable to remove Easy Print from Server 2008.

    I found this tip from Google search:
    FYI, I had to disable the corresponding policy in group policy by going to: Computer Config -> Admin Templates -> Windows Components -> Remote Desktop Services -> RD Session Host -> Printer Redirection -> Use Remote Desktop Easy Print printer driver first -> disabled.

    I cannot find 'Computer Config' 'Admin Templates' and the other units mentioned. Can you please assist?
    I guess if I could start of with Computer Config I would be able to drill down so to speak ... Thanks!

    You may not have Local Group Policy Editor installed. I'm not sure about Server 2008 but on W7 I think Ultimate is the minimum edition that has LGPE. There's probably a way to do it directly in the registry or in some Terminal Services control. I would search MS knowledge base unless someone else here is familiar with it.

    Local Group Policy Editor and the Resultant Set of Policy snap-in are available in Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 Ultimate, and Windows 7 Enterprise.


    Confirm you can find the Group Policy Editor as Miles mentioned
