Yep I noticed that but do you have to have Firefox though as I have to have IE9 on this machine at least for my pay office program as they (government dept) are so behind in the OS they use - just went over to 7 from XP about 4 months ago plus I have to keep Java on too that is how bad it is

Small problem 1. I have to have IE9 on my main machine because of my employers pay office system (government) 2. The main issue however insignificant it may seem I have a typing problem insomuch that I type ma for am - a lot and am constantly having to change it.
Now I always thought that ma was Ma meaning as in mother. I even added the UK and Australian dictionaries to speckie but it just doesn't recognise ma as a wrong spelling.
I have tried editing the dictionaries as the authour sent me the zip code for it but no matter how much I try I cannot find that spelling to delete it.
So I guess I am stuck with the problem - word I use that have an ending "our" I can add to he dictionaries and there is no problem it is just that one single word and well you know what it's like you tend to always be aware of it like a low grade toothache.

it doesnt matter you can still have ie9 and use firefox. you could have a dozen browsers,

use ie9 when its for work stuff and firefox for personal use, the forum etc.

    anyhow to clear this up,
are you saying you want the spellcheck to stop flagging up when you are spelling ma instead of am,
mi typing this in firefox and the spell check doesnt have a problem with ma.

If it's allowed on your work computer. The way that works for me.
I.E. is always set as my default browser.
Firefox or others can be installed and used as one feels like keep I.E. as default.

This allows me to watch all those tap dancing naked Pigmy's movies we all love and cherish.
