Hello i have been a faithful xp user since well it came out, and i havent upgraded to vista because of hardware issues but also because i heard about how bad it was. but now i am going to buy a new pc a desktop a HP Pavilion Elite e9250t series with windows seven 64 bit edition. and for school i was going to get adobe cs4 production edition and was wondering if it would work for me on windows seven? basically has anyone had any troubles installing it so i could know if i should buy adobe cs4 with my computer or wait for an update so that i know it will work?

I use windows 7 64 bit. Photoshop cs4 64 bit and 32 bit work fine. Only problem is that most third party plugins are only 32 bit. So I use the 32 bit version since I use a couple plugins. Illustrator cs4 works fine also. I dunno about the other programs.

You might do better to check at www.adobe.com.

I have Photoshop CS4 on my Win7 X64 system. I'm not a heavy user of it, but I've had zero problems.

Ohh ok I've looked over the Internet and have read that most people haven't had problems plus if there were any problems I don't think it would take that long for adobe to fix it

When you install the 64 bit version Adobe actually installs both the 32 and 64 bit version.
I use the 64 bit when i don't need an add on, and have installed all my add ons in the 32 bit version.
You get the best of both worlds that way.
