Unknown issue installing DirectX and AutoCAD 2013+

    Hello,
I tried to install AutoCAD 2013, 2014; and in both ocassions, the installation got stucked at the DirectX installation...It stoped in this step for like 12 hours (All night), so I cancelled the installation, so i did some research and tried to install DirectX manually using the Web Setup, and it got stuck again at this
    file: D3DX9_43.dll ; so..what to do?

Welcome to Seven Forums JoeCole29. Confirm you have the D3DX9_43.dll in both the C:\windows\System32 and C:\windows\SysWOW64 folders. If it is missing from one, copy it from the other.

You can also download the Directx offline installer if necessary

Download DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010) from Official Microsoft Download Center

    Hey Guy,
I have been trying to re install autoCad 2013 for 2 days now and not getting anywhere. I have tried every possible solution and each one seem to be putting me in more trouble. I was having some issues with my computer and this cause autocad to be running very slowly. For this reason I uninstalled it, as well as everything on the computer that was associated with Autodesk (suggestion from a forum elsewhere). All the time, once the installation reached "6 remaining out of 13", the error 1:5 2: Failed to install/uninstall the anchor service 3.0 is displayed and whatever was done up to that point is reversed. The program then says "autoCad fail to install". Would you be kind enough to assist?

Welcome to Seven Forums shstudent. This is an older thread, and was never replied back to by the OP. Suggest you start a new thread of your own, and hopefully someone can help you. I'm no autocad expert, but I can perhaps help if no one with personal experience replies.
