Windows 7 Easy Transfer installation problem
First post coming up....
I have created a profile snapshot, using Windows Easy Transfer (WET) on a 32bit XP machine and have placed the resulting file on a network drive.
I then went to my new 64bit Windows 7 pc and downloaded what I believed to be the correct WET version - wet7xp_x64. However, when I ran the executable I received a message "The version of Windows you have installed does not match the update you are trying to install."
I'm running Windows 7 Pro SP1 and have Sophos installed. However Sophos didn't have a problem on the XP machine so don't think it's that.
Any thoughts anyone?
