Not uncommon but it is hit or miss

Let me say this first...i am not a computer genious but i do know my way around and how to solve the problems i have come across before

I was talking to some of the people working for geek squad about the issue and they say that they have seen the issue numurous times. They also say that itunes also works fine on alot of windows 7 comuters as well.

i have had 2 identical commuters and reinstalling itunes worked for one...so far. The other continues to crash anytime i try to do anything with itunes

Bottom line...itunes might function the first time or after fennessing it or not at all.

actually i guess 2 problems may happend:
-Disk defrag
-windows 7 validation

I dont know why my windows 7 didnt work well before i valitated it. dont know for sure if i've validated it itunes would work because i formatted my computer with a valid serial.

Well, if some gets the same problem by now, all I would say is: format your computer.

I think I may have...

... a less destructive solution. I've had this exact same problem for a bout two to three weeks now with my iTunes. Turns out the problem was with the AceMegaPro Codec Pack, I guess the Codec Pack does not like Quicktime, and vice versa. To make a long story short I uninstalled AceMegaPro Codec Pack (today actually) and my iTunes works like a charm! This was the error message:

iTunes

See the BEX and StackHash-0a9e ?

Anyway if any of you still have this persisting error AND have AceMegaPro Codec Pack; uninstall it before you go reformatting and installing.
