    Run as administrator is grayed out.


    Hello,

    An installed application needs to run as administrator privilage to start but whenever i go to short cut or exe's properties and check this option it remains disable.
    how to enable it pls. help

    its a client OS (Win 7 Pro.) and domain user needs to access it, even i have made this user a member of local administrators in local system.

    Skumar, you must be a system admin on the domain to setup applications and give the users priv's to run the program. If it only runs with administrator priv's, then local admins won't be able to do it while attached to the domain.
    There are options on your domain setup in Active Directory for your users which will allow them to run applications that require admin priv's.

    But, it takes a domain admin to set this up.
