    Easy Icon Maker Problems

    Hi,

I Installed Easy Icon Maker from ( Easy Icon Maker Software , icon creator , icon changer , icon extractor ) but I don't remember allowing it to handle ALL the icons on my computer. But It has already done so anyway with or without my permission. Now when Adobe Acrobat Reader shows up in the start menu its icon is replaced with an Easy Icon Maker document Icon (trying to show its a .ICO file). How can I remove ALL the default programs to handle Icons in the "Default Programs" Menu to choose nothing to open it. The objective is to get icons to show themselves again and not a default opening programs icon.

It might be noteworthy too to mention that my thumbs.db files that the operating system creates around pictures (in system files) I accidently set to open with explorer, now everytime I see that file type the windows glittery-folder icon(found in the taskbar also) shows up.

Does anybody know how to fix these problems and bring my system back to normal?

    Thanks in Advance,
      My Computer

I have had problems with Easy Icon Maker on both Windows XP and Vista. Whether they can be fixed or not - who knows, because Easy Icon Maker steadfastly DO NOT reply to e-mails, whether you use their support address or their sales address, once they have your money they don't wan to know. I think you would probably be better buying icon software from a company that provides propper support and treats its customers properly.
