    .NET framework unhandled exception on alienware M17Rx3


    The problem is in alienware command center. Alien autopsy, command center, updater & nvidia geforce will not start. I have tried the .net repairs(both 1&2) from microsoft & have uninstalled/reinstalled command center & autopsy. The .net error message only comes on screen after restarting. There is no .net error message with both command center & autopsy removed.
    I have also run scannow several times. It has found no issues.
    Any magic solutions would be wonderfull. thankyou

    Finally!!!!!!!!


    I got a hint from the microsoft community site. i went to programs uninstall and repaired all three .NET programs starting with the client profile. The .NET framework 4.5.1 needed an update.
    The question is why didn't windows update do this?
