Good catch Harribo2014 I didn't catch that code.
Try using Windows Update. Can you get updates if not what code do you get.
What anti virus and firewall do you use?
What is the system specs of the computer having the problem. Is it in the one in your specs.
code 0x80004005 could be also a "timeout" the reach the path of the .dll for java. Might the path being too long? Also check if your Windows Time.
Just to be safe, i would recommend safe mode scan. you never know what might pop up.
agreed with Layback Bear; specs?
laybackbear: I use Total defense security center for both my antivirus and firewall, my computer is the same as in my specs
There are no available updates, but I can connect to that server
I thinking your anti virus is causing the problem.
The only way I know how to check such a thing is to remove Total defense security using their tool and installing Microsoft Security Essential for testing.
If you do this after removing Total Defense reboot a couple of times before installing MSE.
Microsoft Security Essentials - Microsoft Windows
***Have you ever or do you now have
Advanced System Care.
LaybackBear, that did the trick, I'm running at 100% now, thanks for your help everyone.
