I can't integrate portable TeraCopy as default copy program

I want to install TeraCopy in portable format and during installation i choose Portable Version, but after this in the Preferences window it doesn't allow me to select Use TeraCopy as default copy handler.

Can someone tell me how to integrate portable TeraCopy in Windows and make it default copy program?

    Thanks!

My semi-educated guess is that Windows needs to see something installed by a program in the Registry in order to offer the option of making something a default handler. A portable app won't install anything, so I'm thinking Windows won't see it as a valid option for you. Hopefully, others will have more info, but that's what logic and experience is telling me.

Generally yes, the issue is it is a portable program and doesn't register the correct handlers. That said this user says he has managed with a registry script. Suggest if you attempt it you make a complete system image first. At the least, make a registry backup.
