Nero Burning Rom : UDF is the standard now?

Just wanted to clarify something, last week I was on Windows XP and was using Nero 8 to burn my discs. Most of my discs are just for storage purposes so I can get files off my HDD, I was burning No Multisession ISOs.

Now since 8 isn't 'officially supported' by Windows 7 I thought I'd try Nero 11, I haven't tested it yet but it installed fine, but I notice that UDF is at the top of the DVD burning options now. So in this day and age is it better to use UDF over ISO for storage archives?

I've been using Nero for a long time (ever since I abandoned Roxio back in the XP days).

I use Nero BurningRom for all of my audio CD burning and for data CD/DVD's. I haven't had any problems. I notice UDF is used, but hadn't given it much thought. There is also an iso option if you want it. I only use iso for bootable discs.

I don't use multi-session discs. For backup, I use Macrium Reflect and back up my drive (full drive all partitions) to another hard drive.
