Is there a way to make the XP-style file picker the default in Win7?

The XP-style file picker is included in Win7 and is used by some applications and in compatibility mode. I wonder how can I force it to all programs? possibly some registry hacking?

I suppose you're refering to the dialogs to open and save files right? (file open/save standard common dialogs):

The "default" is something like this:

    While you want this:

As far as I know, it's the each application itself that decides which style to use. Compatibility mode will trick the program into thinking that it's running on XP, thereby forcing into XP-style.
I'm not aware of a global method of forcing everything to use those, no idea if something like that does even exists. I will also like to know one, but doubt it's possible.

Yes, this is exactly what I want. I would be OK with deleting/renaming some files or making registy changes.
