    Windows Messenger


    Does any one know if it works on 7 i tryed downloading it yesterday from official site and it failed 4 times any advice???

    Windows Messenger became extinct with Vista.

    Humm stll no good
    How do i take a screen shot of the window that comes up witht he reason why it cant install it has a long error message and i cant be arsed to write it down to type it back in lol :)

    You can use the snipping tool or you can download Faststone capture which is a great program and easy to use, to post your images use the advanced tab on your post and then use the paper clip to manage attachments.

    another thing you might want to try is Windows Live Beta package. wlsetup-web.zip

    Humm still no good
    most of the tabs on this image carry the same error message

    At the bottom of the error message it suggest that another program could preventing this installer from working, are there any programs that are out of the ordinary that you have installed lately, maybe you could try uninstalling a couple to see if that works.

    What programs do you have open when you try and install it? The error message is saying that something's blocking it. Try closing everything except the installer and see if it works.

    I know this installer works, because I used it yesterday and it worked perfectly. I only installed Messenger though.

    unfortunatly not grimm i have tryed all the recomedations on the bottom and tbh its a clean install and i only have a couple of programs on here atm so no everything is closed at time of installaton i dont get it have done messinger like a thousend times and neva had a problem :) appart from on se7en its the only problem i have encountered so far

    I tryed that alrdy silks the first time was just the messinger install and that one is is a link grimm suggested to try
