    Problems with auto update applications

I have a 2g speed internet connection, and my speed is too slow due to background applications that are consuming network data.
As a result my browsing is too slow.
How to find list of background applications with auto update, and terminate applications??

Open Task Manager and check the processes tab, look down the list to see if anything`s using the cpu.

You can use the netstat command to see what programs are calling out. Open an advanced command prompt

Start> In search box type cmd> Right click on cmd.exe in results above and choose Run as administrator> When command prompt opens type

    netstat -b

    Enter

This will list which exe files are connecting to the internet, to also see the IP addresses they are connecting to, type

    netstat -bn

    Enter

You can also create a log. Typing

    netstat -b 5 >> C:\connections.txt

For instance will run the command at five second intervals until stopped by pressing the Ctrl+c keys. This will create a text log file in C:\ named connections.txt

There are also programs that will do similar with a graphical interface, such as TCPEye , which must be installed, and takes a bit of learning, but will give you a real time look at what's connecting.

    Problems with auto update applications

Mr a guy, this net balancer network monitoring tool is set as start up application by default after installation.

Once logging in,the program is starting automatically with background tray application.

But when logging in alternately say second time, this software is starting manually that means failed to start up this time.

So when starting application manually, then the error message is shown in above picture. The service is started manually after showing error message.

Is this the main problem for slow speed(in bytes/sec)??

How to terminate all the apps that are using network??

If any other problems, the help would be appreciated!!

Looks like you have 2 threads here I have replied to? You haven't mentioned NetBalancer in this thread, you only asked how to see what programs are connecting to the internet

    Issue with Network Related Program

I will answer in that thread, assuming you are ultimately wanting to use NetBalancer?

This jumping between posts is not good. Either use this one or the other. I posted in the other, yet you replied here. It's not helpful. Did you fix your original problem?
