I have a recording studio, using Sonar X3.

From your description it would appear to be a Cubase problem and not a Windows problem. However, as you only have a 32 bit OS, that means you are limited in memory and memory can be an issue with any recording DAW program.

The Gearslutz forum, which is a recording forum would be a better place to post than this forum. If Cubase has a forum that is another good place.
