DAEMON Tools Lite full compatibility with Windows 7

New version of DT v4.35.5 (with SPTD 1.62) with full Windows 7 and Windows 7 Sidebar compatibility is available to download!

looks interesting, let's try it out...let's hope there isn't too much bundled crapware...

*edit* just installed it - all looks groovy, they got rid of some of the crap, and added features inc 'mount n drive manager' and rip to iso - nice one.

my fave feature still remains the simple ability to double click an iso in explorer to mount it.

I always first enable that option

My fave is no more Event Log errors!

You can now make ISOs from DVD/CDs? What in the earth do we need to pay for Daemon Tools Pro for?

Confirmed you can now put in a disk and rip to ISO.

Before I was able to double-click an ISO and it would auto-mount it. Now no matter what I do, I can't get it to work anymore. I have to do it manually by right-clicking on the tray icon and mounting through there.

I'm getting the "Error in command line." message when I try to double-click an ISO. (I've already set ISO in the file associations but it seems to change back randomly) Reps to anyone with ideas!

Awesome thanks! I've been using MagicISO as I could not good DAEMON Tools running properly. I'll have to give this new build a try...

Windows 7 was fully supported by DT since SPTD v1.60
Definitely my first and only choise when it comes to using image files
