iTune - How to import multiple songs together?

I navigate Library, Import Playlist and I can pick only one song so that I have to repeat the same process to import multiple songs. Is there a way to pick multiple songs to import them all at once?

Hi,
I believe it's been awhile since I've fooled with iTunes,
But I think you can use ctrl+A to select all,
Or hold down ctrl and click on each song,
Or ctrl click on the first and shift click on the last song to select a string of songs,
Cheers.

That does not work to copy files to iTune. As I described, the process has to start on iTune and I navigate to where the files are.

I found how to: File -> Add Folder to Library... and pick a folder, then all files in it are imported.
