Can't run .bat file windows 7 through the configurator

This is all for flight sim and i'm using an addon that generates traffic and its called my traffic x professional.

Getting frustrated now i'm trying to revert back to 2012 schedule from 2013, each time i run the configurator i receive this message

my traffic x windows cannot access the specified device path or file. you may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item

I have disabled UAC (always have)

    I'm the admin holder

I've tried that tool take ownership

Not sure what to do now? Other members on the flight sim forums can run it no problem why is my pc not letting me?

    Thanks vernon

    Hello Vernon,

See if right clicking on the .bat file and clicking on Run as administrator to allow it to run with elevated rights may do the trick. :)

Are you able to use "Run as administrator" on MyTraffic X?

If i go into the folder right click the bat files - run as admin yeh.

But its when i use the communicator, which you have to use to install these bat files for it to change!

Yep, but are you able to have the communicator to "run as administrator"?

No problem. Since it doesn't help with the communication using "Run as administrator", you might enable UAC back to the default level to see if that may help.

Odd. Enable the built-in Administrator account, and see if you are able to do so while logged in to the "Administrator" account.
