They just need to fix their software, so it doesn't keep claiming its outdated, then claim there aren't updates (see image in post #1). Bloody annoying to have that popping-up all the time. Hopefully someone from there stops by and takes note of that.

Yep I don't see how it can be out of date if there's no updates available

I never noticed a red flag on the mbam action center icon ?
I personally haven't opened or manually tried to update to see if the same issue existed on mine,
Cheers.
I have it set to update at noon and it did yesterday.

When Colin 1st posted this, I had no error, and a up to date version, so it must have been select servers. Now you can go back to V2 Colin

This problem occurs every now and then, last one 3h ago:

Name resolution for the name data-cdn.mbamupdates.com timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded.
(from Event Viewer, a Warning with source: DNS Client Events)

I've set checking for updates to every 20 minutes because of this. Setting it to check on boot is buggy and often don't work.

Malwarebytes Database Version
I just ran the updater in Malwarebytes, and was surprised at the change in version numbers, as can be seen in the screenshot. I suppose they may just have decided to use a different system, but I'm wondering if it might indicate something more nefarious, like someone else slipping into the picture?

OpenOffice Database issue
After working with Access and SQL, I thought I'd try my hand at OpenOffice 3.1's "Base" program. Things went well creating tables and forms. What I was trying was to create a list of books I have in a library, including "Author", "Copyright Date", "Publisher", and "Price" (in case we should...
