Oops I messed up

I Just did a clean install to win7 premium after backing up my files and documents. I ran a spreadsheet to organize my bills thru MS works. Of course Win7 doesn't have Works and I need that spreadsheet. My bad!
Is there a way I can get the program from C/windows.old back on my computer? or didnt I hear that MS was offering a "lite" version of works for free? or do I buy the program?
I sure could use some help with this/
Thanks for listening

You could just use OpenOffice instead Pretty sure it works with MS formats (except .docx)
