Had a issue after installing flash and Windows Essentials Movie maker

I recently did a clean install of Windows 7. All updates except for Silverlight, and 5 optional updates. Today when browsing the internet and watching some flash video, I got one of those pages that cant close. I did a scan on the temporary internet files and Microsoft Security Essentials found a virus and deleated the file. I also sent info to Microsoft. Everything seemed okay except suddenly All video, weather in a wab page or on windows media player whould stop about a third of the way through, and again every so often untill I pressed play again. And in a web page It would stop buffering the file as if it were done and I whould have to click ahead of the stopping point to get it to go. So I noticed that SQL server 2005( i thing it said lite edition), was installed. I did not install this. SO I uninstalld Flash, and Microsoft Essentials Movie maker, and SQL server dissapeerd on its own. Why does Essentils need SQL server to be installed and why dont they tell you that. It scarred the heck out of me. Anyways I havent had to do a system restore yet and everthing seems back to normal. Is there a way to install Movie maker without all this server connection stuff. Is there a free program anyone can recomend. One that will not cause problems or install other crap I dont want...

Did you install all of Essentials, or just Movie Maker? Photo Gallery is what requires SQL 2005, but it says not on Windows 7

       Note
For Photo Gallery: SQL 2005 Compact Edition and Windows Imaging Codecs.*

*Not required when installing on Windows 7 or Windows Vista.

    However, I found this:

When you have downloaded the package install the features that you want to use on a test computer. When the installation has finished you will see that some of the programs have dependencies to each other. To get Movie Maker to work you have to have Photo Gallery installed. And to get Photo Gallery to work you need Microsoft SQL 2005 Compact edition. So don’t scratch your head to much when you see that Photo Gallery is installed even though you just selected Movie Maker

Yes After uninstall and doing a sys. restore.. and some reseach I see that is where SQL came from. Too bad I really liked Movie maker. It has some cool stuff for a free program. But somehow my system got out of wack. I am staying away from flash as well. From what I am reading it wont be long before it will not be used anymore. Too many security problems... Does any one have any good alternitives????? Something with no hiiden problems.. Anyways Thanks A Guy

    Hi,
You might make sure what ever bug you picked up is gone completely,
Review Jacee’s instructions to run Adwcleaner here post #7,
Ignore the title of the thread,

Screen shot of the download button to use for Adwcleaner
You can use these free tools to see if they find anything,
Manually Update them before running full scans,
Try not to use your computer while the scans are running, (one at a time of course).
See this tutorial on how to download and run Malwarebytes,
    Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free
Also use the Custom scan option not the Threat scan,

Please Do Not clean/ Delete or Remove Any detections before posting the scan results first before review especially Malwarebytes,

SAS is safe to remove anything it finds

This one is the longest up to 4 hours, the others are only about 45 minutes,

There shouldn't be a issue with sql compact edition :/
Your system spec's look okay to me what did you upgrade from Vista ?
