    I find myself using Sumo, but usually don't suggest it as only the Portable and Lite versions carry with it no added "baggage".

    I have been using FileHippo Update Checker for a long time and found it works great and with no annoying pop-ups or adverts.

    At least KC Softwares warns the user before even downloading.
    I've been using SUMo portable and haven't any problems.
    It is a more complicated program (imho) to learn/use, but it lists more than any other Update Checker I've used.

    FileHippo put out a new version 1.43 and renamed it to FileHippo App Manager.
    Unfortunately there is no new portable version (yet).

I just noticed, on the FileHippo site, that you can download Launchy. However, it is not listed in the detected programs when FileHippo Updater runs. What gives? :geek:
Hi, I have only just made the switch to W7, which I am loving by the way but I use to love FileHippo Update Checker. The program has installed fine but when it runs and searches for updates it doesn't show all of the programs I have installed on my machine like it should. Any ideas?? Ta
