Do I need SmartSound Quicktracks 5?

I've spent an hour or 2 each day the last couple off days cleaning up my computer, deleting/uninstalling stuff I don't need etc..

I have a folder in my Program Data(on the C: drive) called SmartSound Software Inc taking up 2.36 GB.
I also have 2 programs installed, SmartSound Common Data and SmartSound Quicktracks 5.

Do I need these? Is it used by another program or?

I appreciate any help I may get.

Thanks.

EDIT:
In case anyone can help with this to, I have a program called Antec CC, which is basically a program to control the fan speed on my water cooling, do I need this program? I have never touched it and I can't see a situation where I need to change the speed on my fans.
If I uninstall it, will my fans stop working for example? Or is it safe to uninstall this?

It's not part of the windows core, but relates to a commercial 3rd party music service Royalty Free Music, 20 Million+ Royalty Free Music Downloads If you don't need or want it you can remove it, it does have plug ins for various media production applications so that may be the source check things like music editors & Video production suites

More specific info on removal SmartSound Quicktracks 5 - Should I Remove It? ( I do not know this site so cannot recommend their removal software but control panel and manual tidy up should be enough

Thanks for that link, turns out it's used by an editing software I use(Corel VideoStudio) so I guess I need it.

Still need some help on that Antec program though, if anyone can offer any help on that issue.

With the Antec software you may be better off posting a question in one of the hardware forums on this site

Hi,
I would tend to leave utilities like this alone,
You may not see a reason to fluctuate the fan speed now but if you ever game you might to cool it down,
It might actually do this automatically via the utility

Video files are very large too so this utility might actually help in the graphics program too if overheating occurs
Cheers.
