    Where is Win Patrol?

What has happened to Win Patrol?

I have the Plus version, but it has been sold to a different vendor. I can't find the Vendor's site and the link in Win Patrol Plus is to the original owner. I can't find the new owner's site (and if there are any updates).

Sad for a program that was supported and worked well.

As far as I can see www.winpatrol.com is owned and run by the new owners - the CNET download links back to it and was updated recently.

I go to the winpatrol.com and all I get is a message about welcome to your new server. But no links to anything.

Clear your browser cache and try again - I get links to the downloads, including WinPatrolToGo (which could be handy for me!). It works fine here

Jack, if nothing else, you can always get it from Filehippo.

    Download WinPatrol 32.0.2014.5 - FileHippo.com

I cleared the cache, history, etc in Firefox using CCleaner. With Firefox I still only get an intro page but nothing else? I also cleared the cache using the Firefox procedure.

I have the latest version (which links to the defunct BillP site), just can't access the new site, other than the initial screen.

Update, I tried to access the site with Win 8 this morning (I normally use Win 7). Same thing on both I.E.11 and Firefox.
AND I tried accessing with my iPad and the exact same thing.

Only thing I can think of is my ISP (Brighthouse/Roadrunner)???

Possibly - If you ping www.winpatrol.com what IP do you get? (23.229.142.65 here)

Looks to me as if your DNS isn't updating properly - that IP belongs to Verio hosting.
Just in case, close all browsers, then open an Elevated Command Prompt, and run the following command...

    IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS

close the window and reboot (to be on the safe side) then try again.
If you still get the same response it could well be a bad DNS Server at your ISP and you may want to contact them about it.
