Hey guys,
is it possible to share your ethernet connection over your wifi devices (like iphone). If so can someone run down the steps as to how this can be done (using connectify version 2)
Thanks | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 |

I just installed the newest version, which makes Connectify a "service" instead of a process in task manager. That's what they said anyway.
Issues is, when I boot my PC I see an error that the Connectify service stopped working. The program still works and starts fine, but the message is annoying because it happens each time I boot.
Any solution? Connectify has not gotten back to me for days. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Sager NP2096 OS 7 Ultimate 64 bit Service Pack 1 CPU Intel Core 2 Duo P9500 @ 2.53GHz (lower wattage chip) Motherboard JHL 90 (U2E1) Memory 4.0GB Dual-Channel DDR 2 @ 398MHz (5-5-5-18) Graphics Card 512MB GeForce 9600M GT Sound Card Realtek High Definition Audio Monitor(s) Displays Generic PnP Monitor Screen Resolution 1680x1050 Keyboard generic Mouse Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500 Cooling nature Hard Drives Hitachi 244GB @ 7200rpm (IDE) Internet Speed 30 megabits down, 5 megabits up Other Info 1.)Staples 4-Port USB 2.0 Mobile Hub

When i turn on the wireless hot spot and go to my other computer to access the internet it started saying that the proxy server is denying access. I don't understand the problem sense it has be working properly until now!

Before upgrading to 7 I was using RALINK's software on XP to make an AP. I haven't had any luck with their software and 7. Same problem here. Can't seem to get it to work for longer periods even with the latest 2.2 update. Let me know if you figure it out and I'll do the same. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 |

Connectify can share the connection as long as you are running Win 7 and have a supported wifi card. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Home Built, Dell Inspiron 1520 Laptop OS Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit), Win 7 Pro (32-bit) CPU 3.4Ghz 3770K i7, 2.4Ghz Core 2 Duo Motherboard Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H, Dell Memory 8G, 3G Graphics Card ATI Radeon HD 5770, Mobile Intel 965 Sound Card High Definition Audio (Built-in to mobo) Monitor(s) Displays Dell 2409W 24" Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard IBM Model M - used continuously since 1986 Mouse Microsoft PSU Antec Case Antec 100 Cooling CM 212+ Hard Drives 128G SSD OS; 1.5T & 2T Data on Desktop, 320G for laptop Internet Speed 1.5M down 1.2M up :-( Other Info Also have an Acer Aspire netbook, a home-built AMD Dual core (Minecraft server) and home-built Pent 4 all running Win 7. After all the messing around that I have done to try to make this program work line you say it can. I can only conclude that the statement you just made can't be further from the truth because this program has failed every single time I've tried it. Sometimes it will work for 4hrs or 6hrs or even sometimes a whole day but that is very rare and none the less it fails and completely stalls and the computer must be rebooted and connectify must be rerun to activate the HotSpot again.
@Max9028: you mean like a 3G air card from verison or sprint or something? | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 |

@Max9028: you mean like a 3G air card from verison or sprint or something? From past discussions with you, I recall you are using 2 wifi adapters which is a configuration that I have not used and I believe is an unusual setup compared to most other users of Connectify. It works for me and allows me to tether my smartphone to my notebook/netbook and create a hotspot to share that connection. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Home Built, Dell Inspiron 1520 Laptop OS Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit), Win 7 Pro (32-bit) CPU 3.4Ghz 3770K i7, 2.4Ghz Core 2 Duo Motherboard Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H, Dell Memory 8G, 3G Graphics Card ATI Radeon HD 5770, Mobile Intel 965 Sound Card High Definition Audio (Built-in to mobo) Monitor(s) Displays Dell 2409W 24" Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard IBM Model M - used continuously since 1986 Mouse Microsoft PSU Antec Case Antec 100 Cooling CM 212+ Hard Drives 128G SSD OS; 1.5T & 2T Data on Desktop, 320G for laptop Internet Speed 1.5M down 1.2M up :-( Other Info Also have an Acer Aspire netbook, a home-built AMD Dual core (Minecraft server) and home-built Pent 4 all running Win 7.
