    Duplicate file finder


    Can anyone recommend a good duplicate file finder that isn't ad ware full of pop ups?

    There's one built in the popular CCleaner program. You can't search for file names but you can narrow it down to a drive, folder and file type. And several other options.

    The one I use when I need to find duplicate files (that's not very often) is:

    Duplicate Cleaner - Find Duplicate Files

    I use the free version. If you like you can set the file type filter to all files "*.*"

    The free version doesn't include image mode.
