    Hi, I would like to know which is the best free compression software out there that I could use to compress files and possibly how fast is it at compressing?

Be careful where your get your free software or free software updates from. Some programs on certain download sites can get malware,viruses, or have pups even if the program provided was originally clean. One site I recommend is MajorGeeks they do a really good job.
hello 7 groups..!! can any one please suggest me a software which can compress very large files and folders upto 50%? I tried all of these winzip,winrar,7 zip,peazip,hamster,universal extractor,zipltfree,pkzip,bit zipper.. but wasn't satisfied.. please help?
Iuse winrar and need to know if there are any differences between the different compression formats ( zip, rar, tar) and if one of them is more robust than the rest?
So hey guys, whatsup? so I have huge amout of game backups/software backups/random stuff I downloaded off internet. I organized all of it last night, trying to get more space, but I still have over 70gb of data, so barely i freed up 10gb of data, so is there any compression software that can...
The problem: I recorded a really good film I want to keep. The file is just over 5GB. I want to compress it to about 20% of that with minimal loss of quality. I've been looking on line for several days. I found MCEBuddy,but am having trouble getting it to work.
