Kindle Ebook Fragments to PDF ?
Has anyone bought a Amazon Kindle Ebook recently and got the fragments converted into a PDF ?

Curious. All the Kindle books I've been downloading to my computer still put the book itself on an AZW file. The fragments you are referring to contain metadata, such as your last read place in the book, a title page, bookmarks, etc. You shouldn't need the fragments if converting the e-book to a PDF (btw, how do you do that?).
Kindle for Windows8 specifically breaks up Amazon ebooks into fragment files, they are literally files that have the name "fragment.01", "fragment.02" etc without the AZW extension.
Kindle for Windows7 saves books as AZW extension which is what I had to download as I had the Windows8 version installed.
You can install Kindle for PC for Windows7 on Windows8 and your ebooks will have the AZW extension, that is what I did ! :)
True with the help of some third party programs, if you saw my desktop you'd honestly think you're using Windows7. I like Windows 8.1 both on my desktop and Phone as I only own a Windows Phone, it lacks the apps but I hope that expands soon, besides how many apps do you need, two hundred on a phone is insane.
