After clean install random things crash when opened specific way

Recently I reinstalled my windows 7 home premium 64bit on my Sony Vaio Laptop. It's not my main laptop so I wasn't really using it after the clean install. Recently I started using it again and notice a lot of programs and windows functions give me crash errors. Things I know that give me crash errors every single time so far is itunes, VLC, windows photo gallery (the photo preview thing), and looking up the system properties. Some work just fine, such as photoshop and chrome.

The weird thing is, sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't. While writing this post, I tried opening itunes/vlc on its own, opening through clicking a file, and viewing system properties through right click my computer or clicking system properties, and sometimes the crash doesn't happen. When it does happen, it says "_____ has stopped working". As of writing this post, opening itunes alone, opening itunes by clicking audio file, opening VLC by opening video file, opening windows media player gives me crashes. Before the last restart viewing system properties would crash but not now.

    Opening itunes:

I also have this problem today

I do clean install from windows 8, i have been search on same forum
    and try some option.
What can I conclude is this caused by the display driver Catalyst Control Center.

I have try install from the official ASUS but there is nothing change
I also download directly to ATI website with driver version 14.9 but caused me
new problem. This driver is working properly but made my laptop display backlight died so I can't
saw my desktop, may be because its not compatible with my laptop manufacture.

So, I don't know how to fix this except you run your PC without display driver installed on it.

    2. Uninstall your driver from control panel > Programs and features
    3. After you uninstall you will ask to restart, when you do restart, boot into Safe Mode. Mine (ASUS) is by press F5
    4. In Safe Mode, extract the downloaded file, and run it
    5. Restart your PC again
    6. Re install the official display driver again and restart. I don't have any issues after do this steps

Driver sweeper is a software to clean registry and all files from the old installer. May be this files which make this problem. Hope this can help you. Cheers!.
