    Issue with Compressed File program

I'm not sure if this is posted in the right forum, but I recently tried installing a download I got for my sims 3. On the help to download/install on the web, it said that you could double click the program and it will run into the sims 3 launcher and install into the game. Did, didn't work.

I then read farther into it and thought I could run it with EADM (EA Download Manager) which isn't what I needed at all because thats just for downloading and buying other games. So, the icon on the thing I downloaded changed to represent the EADM file insted of the usual Compressed (zipped) file fold. I managed to do this through Open with....

I then tried downloading Winzip, which then I converted it to the Winzip installation start up, then the winzip program, which works, but it is only a trial and I'm too borke to care about buying it.

I just want to be able to get my icon folder back to being a compressed (zipped) file. I tried sending it to a compressed fold, but that only made a second copy of the same thing, and I've tried looking through my computer to covert it back to the compressed folder.

I'm not that smart with computers, and I have tride using downloads for Vista, but it always gives me an error message saying something about some keys could not be changed. I've also tried redownloading it and it doesn't change.

I now have it opening into windows Explorer and I see the correct files, this is working, but I would really like it to be converted back into a compressed file. I would prefer it to be a manual assistance isnted of a downloading assistance because the downloading never seems to work.

And if this is in the wrong section, please let me know where it needs to go. Thanks!

(I'm using windows 7 vista update)
