Shimshom, I can not download I get this box that pops up, and across the top it has:

    C:\Users\Diana\Downloads\install_reader ll_en_chrd_dn_awa_aih_exe
and the under that inside the box it goes on to say:
This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action.
Please install a program or if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Program control panel.
And I have no ideal what that means, so thank you so very much for your help.

What browser are you trying to DL it from ?

If IE, turn off the pop up blocker and try again.

And you need to upgrade to IE 11

If that still fails, use Chrome

Also, check your local time up there, it`s wrong, should be the same as mine

User Control Panel>Edit Options>Automatically detect DST settings

@AddRAM, I'm using IE 11 and it still does not work even when I disabled the pop up blocker and I do have the right time on my PC, but this 7 forums has the wrong time and I don't know how to change it.
So now what? And thank you for your help.

It is 9:44pm on my PC.

When clicking the download button do you tell it to run or save the file. Have you tried using a different browser such as Firefox or Chrome. To change the time 7F shows go to your UserCP at the top of the page and in Settings & Options click on Edit Options scroll down to Date & Time Options and make sure it shows your right time zone from the drop down menu in the Time Zone section

    Adobe Reader - download

Well there's something wrong with the file you downloaded. It's named:

    install_reader ll_en_chrd_dn_awa_aih_exe

It should be named something like:

    install_reader ll_en_chrd_dn_awa_aih.exe

Try deleting it and download it again. Other than that just rename it before running it.

    Still having problem with files

Okay, when I try to run adobe reader it does not say run, it said open and save in a drop down. When I click open it will say retry, then I click retry and get the error message. But now even when I try to view my Vectren bill, (gas bill) and it said open I hit open and got retry then this (below) popped up

    C:\Users\Diana\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\TemporaryInternet Files\Content.IE5\6Gl
and just below it in the error box same error as when trying to open adobe reader:

This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Program control panel.

Please can someone help me to get rid of this problem, and can anyone tell me if this Registry Optimizer really can fix all my problems or is it just another waste of my money? Really need help!

    Thanks to everyone's help!!

I've seen such a problem and not just with Adobe Reader, turned out to be infections such as Malware, Virus and Trojans. Cleaning the computer solved it but a couple of time I had to use rkill.exe followed by fixexec/

    Control Panel

What does it show in control panel (small icons view) if you click "Default Programs" then "Associate a file type or protocol with a program" ?

It should show Adobe Reader for PDF.

You are trying to view a PDF document using Adobe Reader I hope.

Mine shows Nitro Reader 3. Yours should show Adobe Reader.
