    Scan log

    If you like you could run a scan with this:

    UVK - Ultra Virus Killer - free version

    Once installed right click and run as admin. Then "Scan and create log"

    Settings needed:

    Software called Pro Reg Cleaner automatically starts when win boots-uvk-ultra-virus-killer.jpg

    Save log to your desktop and attach it to your post. We'll see if we can spot the problem.

    I'll try this, thanks. Will post the logfile after it has finished.

    Update: Unfortunately, the log exceeds the minimum requirements for the attachment, so i compressed it down to a zip.

    So I think I may have figured this whole thing out just now. I found the folder that Pro Reg Cleaner was installed to, so I just physically deleted the folder permanently, I'm going to restart the computer now, will update if I no longer see the program.

    Reg Pro Cleaner

    Well done! you might also want to delete the following from scheduled tasks:

    <> | C:\Windows\system32\Tasks\RPC | C:\Program Files (x86)\Bull Softwares\Reg Pro Cleaner\RegProCleaner.exe | RegProCleaner | 26D04191071ABF97AFBD2ABC0203B082 | Signed : No publisher

    and this:

    <@Mike\MuiCache> | C:\Program Files (x86)\Bull Softwares\Reg Pro Cleaner\RegProCleaner.exe | RegProCleaner | 26D04191071ABF97AFBD2ABC0203B082 | Signed : No publisher

    It shouldn't hurt to leave it but if you want to remove - download the attached file and rename it to

    UVK Fix - List.uvk

    Then from the UVK GUI choose "Run Scripts" and browse to wherever you saved UVK Fix - List.uvk and import it (open it) then run the fix.

    All the best!

    Sorry that's not right. Give me a few minutes and I'll upload the fix list again and post the contents.

    New Fix List

    Here's the correct fix. It will delete the entries without moving them into the recycle bin.

    File contents:

    Code:
    <UVKCommandsScript>
        ####################### UVK - Fix List. #######################

     <SDelete>
    <ScheduledTasks> | C:\Windows\system32\Tasks\RPC | C:\Program Files (x86)\Bull Softwares\Reg Pro Cleaner\RegProCleaner.exe | RegProCleaner | 26D04191071ABF97AFBD2ABC0203B082 | Signed :  No publisher

    <@Mike\MuiCache> | C:\Program Files (x86)\Bull Softwares\Reg Pro Cleaner\RegProCleaner.exe | RegProCleaner | 26D04191071ABF97AFBD2ABC0203B082 | Signed :  No publisher

        ####################### End of UVK - Fix List. #######################
    File to download and use like you did before:

    (Rename with.uvk file extension)
