    Anyone used this software

Using HW Info this morning to check a few details out and came across this http://biosagentplus.com/?ref=875 and out of curiosity ran the check an it came up with BIOS and drivers updates.
Now I know this machine which came with 8 and I downgraded to 7 does not have drivers for 7 without having to change the BIOS (update) as advised by the Asus support site for this ROG G750JM.

Am a bit wary of these types of software/s and am wondering if anyone has come across this one and tried it. If I were at home I would use my tester desktop but am not there so cannot.

    So anyone?:)

It is unlikely to work John .. Because some Laptops that have Windows 8 have Soc Chipsets ..

In that case even changing the BIOS will not help ...

Thanks Brian I was a bit dubious re doing the BIOS update only I cannot get the drivers for the 7 install without it as Asus support tells me.

As far as I remember the manufacture has the advantage of issuing and installing bios updates on a machine they made,
It's been quite a long time that I clean installed 7 but that is one of the missing conveniences with factory bloatware

This is a good topic of scamware promising the sky but deliver a brink brick instead
I've not seen anything on that company/ site looks clean and no popup push messages..... :/

Ok Ken mate I won't bore you with that very long story except what I stated at the top re 7 drivers on that Asus support site needing the BIOS updating first.

Now as I use HW Info quite a bit I thought it might be reasonably safe to use that function / site off their GUI see pic

But I have too admit from past experience like most of us those sorts of sites that look too good to be true usually are eh? though one like Slim Drivers do take you through to the Intel site proper with their products.

I paid Altex, Austin TX, monies to roll my Acer preLoaded w/Win8 back to Windows 7 Pro [ms blue-disks]. They spent time and energy ID'g all involved chipsets, researched - downloaded - installed necessary drivers, finished and now I have a laptop that really runs Win7Pro expertly. I mention this because paying a top notch business computer center to change OS is another option.
