Where does Macrovision Software Updater come from?

    Hi

after a cpl weeks on WIN7 I am pretty damn happy. A cpl of questions though, where does Software Updater software (by Macrovision from memory - I am writing this from work on a Vista equipped PC - so OLD HAT!) come from? How does it seem to self-install? Can I delete it, simply for it to re-appear?

It may have been on my Vista boot at home (never noticed it) - it's just that I am taking far more interest in my PC when using WIN7 than I did in the past few years.

And, with WIN7 Home Premium installed, WILL it be possible to simply buy a touch-enabled MONITOR in the near future and use my exising PC or do I really have to buy a PC that's touch enabled WITH a compatible monitor?

    Rgds

I'm going to assume it comes from InstallShield. Since Macrovision owns it...
As for the touch enabled monitor, yes you just need to get a touched enabled monitor.
