    jpeg to pdf, 1:1 conversion

I have about 300 various jpeg files that I need to convert to pdf. I found many utilities where I could merge all of them to one pdf, but I didn't find any reliable 1:1 converting application. In theory, I could print those jpeg to pdf using pdf printer, but 300 is a lot to do this way.

Anybody has a recommendation for such application?

I tried FastStone Image viewer, but the pdf output size is massive compared to say what PdfCreator spits out (I played around with settings with not much help), hence compression is important as well, best compromise in size and quality of pdf.

    Many thanks in advance.

    hellow fuzzychicken,

you can try primoPDF, where you can drag and drop files on the shortcut and it will convert the files into pdf. 1:1 conversion.

I just 'printed' 45MBs worth of pictures (47 pics) in one go to doPDF. The PDF file is 10MBs and it was done in 5 seconds. I selected all pictures and then right click > Print.

Did you get 47pdf files or only one pdf file as an output?

Thanks ShoTTas, will take a look at it

Hmm, interesting. What does one do with 300 picture PDFs. Just curious.

If those are documents and not true pictures, you might also want to try this.

    Thank You whs.

I actually don't want to OCR. Some of the documents are financial or medical records. I don't want them to be easily accessible, should someone access the machine without authority.
