Adobe Flash Player - continuing problems

I'm continuously getting a message in my Action Center about Adobe Flash Player - it says
Address a problem with Adobe Flash Player
Adobe Flash player has stopped working 12 time(s), last occurring on 06/11/2009 4:38 PM. Contact Adobe Systems Incorporated about upgrades or other possible solutions. I have all the current fixes on Windows 7 plus the latest browsers IE8 and Firefox, again all up to date. I've been to the Adobe site many times and installed the most recent version of Flash Player for both browsers, but still the problem happens.

Any thoughts, anyone.

I'm having the same problem. My Action Centre says that Adobe Flash Player has stopped working 39 times. IE8 is continuously shutting down on me. No problem with Google Chrome so far, but I'm used to using IE, so I'd like to fix the issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I forgot to associate the IE shutting down issue with this but you're probably right - I get a lot of messages saying IE is shutting down.
