    .NET Framework 4.5 "Installation failed with error code: (0x80070643)"

    Hi guys. I wanna update my .net framework with an offline installer, but this error always shows up. I tried finding some fix but not even a single one worked. So I was hoping that maybe you could help me with this.

    Here's the log file;

    OS Version = 6.1.7600, SP = 0.0, Platform 2
    OS Description = Windows 7 - x86 Home Premium Edition

    MSI = 5.0.7600.16992

    Final Result: Installation failed with error code: (0x80070643), "Fatal error during installation. " (Elapsed time: 0 00:03:10).

    But before anything else, I think there's something fishy about my regedit 'cause some other guys say that I should:
    Check if following registry keys have correct values:
    · MsiExecCA32 should end with \Windows\syswow64\msiexec.exe
    · MsiExecCA64 should end with \Windows\system32\msiexec.exe

    (But I cant find them here)

    From your post.
    OS Version = 6.1.7600, SP = 0.0, Platform 2
    You need to use Windows 7 Update and install SP-1 first. SP-1 should read 6.1.7601.

    Yes, there`s no reason not to have SP1 installed by now.

    Hi sir, I tried installing SP-1 but;
    1. Windows update download % doesn't go up from 0.
    2. Since, windows update is slow. I decided to download the pack from microsoft but this error occurred:
