    Gps appfor android phone

I'm looking for a GPS app that has voice guidance.

I've downloaded a number from Googleplay, but can't seem to find one that works well.

I'm willing to pay for a good app.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Paul

Navigator==Google maps. It's a good navigation app except for one thing, it requires a data connection to keep updating the map data as you drive. A good navigation app that doesn't require a data connection while navigating is Co-Pilot Live. I think it costs about $10 in the Play Store. It lets you download maps (such as N America or USA) and store them on your phone so no data connection is required. Of course you need to have enough space on your phone to store those maps, USA requires something like 1.2GB.

I use Google Maps website to plan routes then send a link of that route to my phone. When I click on that link it asks what app to open it with and I choose Co-Pilot. Did that with a trip 2 years ago, 4,000 miles thru 8 Western states. The nice thing was that when my son would drive, he could bring the same route up on his phone. Worked great.

Co-Pilot has a free app as well but it doesn't do voice guidance.

My phone only has a 4g SD and 2GB of internal memory.

If I get a bigger SD card, can I move it to the card?

Most of the GPS apps I've tried, won't let you move it.

    I downloaded Navigator.

Will it start giving voice instructions once I'm on the road and moving?

Thanks - I hope this is better than the reviews on the Playstore site.
Most give it one or two stars.

I hope it is just operator error.

All the reviews say it worked great until an update last week.

I'll see for myself when I use it tomorrow.
