For troubleshooting, Open Control Panel > Troubleshooting
System Maintenance Troubleshooter - Turn On or Off
Run the troubleshooters as needed.

If I had a suspected malware problem i would create a new thread in the System Security forum.
There are trained Security Experts there that can help.
Fill in your System Specs so others know what hardware / software you have:

I keep my systems up to date, especially security patches for Windows and all programs i use.
I run CCleaner file cleaner a couple of times per month, to clean up temp files not needed.
I create periodic System Backup Images, so i can easily restore if anything goes wrong.
I wouldn't use/trust any "Fix-it-all" software that i know of ...
When i have a problem i can't fix myself, i create a SF thread for that specific problem.
There are many experts in SF willing to help solve problems.

Ok, so I don't know what happened, but glary utilities, iobit360 security, and smart defrag are all on my taskbar with a couple other programs on the bottom of my screen of my desktop. The problem happens to be the 3 programs I mentioned above seemed to no longer have there icons in the taskbar....
