Webroot website says that Windows Washer isn't compatible with win7.
However, right click the setup file, click troubleshoot compatibility.

The reg cleaner and windows cleaner all completely separate functions in CCleaner. Just use one and not the other.

You can also set up a shortcut to run and clean things up silently > "C:\Program Files (x86)\CCleaner\CCleaner.exe" /auto (This only triggers the windows cleaner, NOT the registry cleaner).

and if you use the task scheduler trick to disable UAC prompts, you are a single click away from cleaning goodness >

ATF-Cleaner. It's free, good and doesn't have a registry scanner which is a good thing IMHO.

There's nothing wrong with a reg cleaner, and they are actually a good think to run if you uninstall a lot of software.

That being said, CCleaner is one of the best, if not the best out there, it's free, updated often, and treats the cleaner and the reg cleaner as separate functions. I trust CCleaner much MUCH more than the Window Washer crap. I've seen that destroy many a system before.
