Running a script when Explorer starts

I need to run a script somehow when explorer.exe starts up. This isn't as simple as making it run on system startup or logon, because the system starts up but then kills explorer and brings you to a third-party login screen for my university system. Point is, I need to run a script when explorer.exe starts and I can't seem to find a way to do it. Any ideas?

Logoff script not running at shutdown
I have a script that launches Ccleaner and needs to run at shutdown. Shutdown scripts do not run within the user space as I understand, so I figured I'd use a logoff script which will run while the user is still logged in. The logoff script works when logging off as expected, but does not run...

A program starts running whenever monitor is off
In the power settings, I set the monitor off time to 10 minutes. When I get away from my computer more than 10 minutes, an invisible program starts running. It uses harddisk like crazy, and I also hear the CPU fan working faster. I used "Process Explorer" to detect this program. I see a...

Running *.reg File Before Windows Starts?
I screwed up a system file association. I created a .reg file from a portion of a full registry backup from two weeks ago. When I try and run this .reg file it tells me that not all of the data could be imported due to certain system keys currently being in use. Is it possible to execute a reg file...
