| | Why is there no Control Panel/Programs/Change Startup.. ..Programs anymore? I liked how Vista had that feature. Now it seems the only way to disable startup programs is by 'msconfig' right? |

| | Hi Dizzy, Unfortunately, they took out the Software/StartUp configuration option out of Windows Defender in Windows 7.  Like you said, you can configure with msconfig, or you can use a third party program like Autoruns, CCleaner, Glary Utilites to configure start up programs. |

| | I use Tune-Up Utilities... best program I used over the years for maintaining my system. I wonder though if there's a plugin for the control panel like it was back in XP... |
