Acronis 2016 and Windows 7 (Advice)

    Acronis 2016 and Windows 7 (Advice)


    Who does not read this will install Windows 7 twice for having clean copy as image in ATI software.

    So what happens?

    - Installed win 7, installed sp1, installed drivers, installed acronis 2016, made backup (do not schedule) - done.
    - Installed crap, and acronis started schedule on my backup. What a nice day, isn't it?

    Stop all Acronis services in Windows 7, and just use it from f11.

    Did it get the new image on top of your original? Edit the task to see if it is set to no schedule.

    I use ATI Home 2010 and it is working perfect. Weekly full backup and daily differentials run as they should, start running if the previous task is missed due computer being shutdown, etc.

"Patch Tuesday" broke our install of Outlook 365. It was working fine on Monday and on Tuesday it was hanging on "Processing." So I restored back to the last restore point before the update and it worked great after that. Yesterday it re-installed the updates, and again Outlook didn't load....
Hi there For current Acronis users the upgrade to 2011 IMO is well worth the small price (approx 25 EUR). New USB 3.0 support, direct conversion of .tib into .vhd files (great for P2V and V2P conversions of Virtual Machines) plus all the other stuff you would expect from a robust backup...
