Unable to install certain softwares

My brother gave me his computer that he tweak, and I'm having issues trying to install files like Java or Itunes, I ran the windowsfixit program to see if there was something wrong with my drivers or something that prevents installation but it said nothing, I can't seem to find what's wrong and why I cant install itunes.

"The installer encountered errors before iTunes could be configured. Errors occured during installation. Your system has not been modified. Please run the installer again, or click finish to exit.

You probably do not need Java.

Tried right clicking and "Run as administrator"?

Not wise to be unprotected even if you browse "secure" websites.

Perhaps the issue is within the word "tweaked".

I would say a repair install - Repair Install
