Bill, I'm really sorry Corel let you down! Unfortunately, my program's serial number (along with PPS 10) is registered with Corel, and I don't think you could use it. Maybe this would be worth looking into:
Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X3 13 & X2 12.50 Full Version Free Download US USA
Read the FAQ's and Download information and draw your own conclusions. In your case I don't feel you'd be cheating anybody by getting the program without cost!

Gini, thank you so much for all the time and effort that you have utilized on my behalf! Not many people are so helpful!

I tried to work my way through the free Corel X 3 offer, but never could get past all the requests of information. However, I do thank you!

Today I got my old XP computer up and running so I could check what SN was shown in the X2 Program's Help area. It was the same that was shown on the DVD dish envelope. While I was on the XP computer, and on the Photo X2 program, I noted that there was an ad for X2 program owners for a upgrade to X6 for $15.95! Corel however now says it's not available.

As for me using someones SN, I may be wrong, but I don't believe Corel would know if someone used a SN unless they tried to register that information. That information would be contained in that one computer.

Gini, thanks again for you help,

    Bill

That's a great buy for a boxed X2 program. i believe I paid about $80 for mine some 4 years ago.

And, I started to order one...when I thought "what if it is like the X2 program that I already have. and the listed SN doesn't work?" Nowhere could I find a list showing what Window systems the X2 would work with.

Amazon would let me return it, I'm sure...but!

I just installed it on Win10, seems to be fine. I used all caps, my copy starts with PR12WNX. I had gotten 2 bundles of WordPerfect and PaintShop Pro X2 but one PaintShop did not come with a Serial Number so got screwed on that part of the deal, but I did want 2 copies of WordPerfect and the bundle had a good price.

No, that is the one thing I haven't tried!

However, I will try using lower case letters today. i'll let you know the results.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

Well,Trash Zone, I don't know what to say except THANK YOU!

I sure don't understand why using lower-case letters in the SN key would work...but it did!

To be honest, I really didn't think doing that would have a snow-ball's change in Hell of working...but, it did, and I am now able to use my Paint Shop Pro Photo X2!

Hooray! My thanks to everyone who replied and offered suggestions!

Hi great news if you don't remember all m$ product keys are the same way all you need to do is enter the letters as normal type never using the shift key :)

Using shift key is secondary if normal type doesn't work I believe mbam pro you would need to use shift on letters but ultimately mbam sends an email with the activation key and often will fail unless I copy and paste it into the activation key box
Another quirk in entering a activation for software
    Cheers.
