    FYI: You don't need umpteen full clone or system image backups but you do need at least ONE you know
    WORKS. Ever see a president of a large corporation break down and cry after I told him all his backups
    were never verified and, consequently, now don't work. I kinda felt sorry for the dude but had to giggle
    on my way out. I know. I'm a bad, bad boy (dog).

    Actually, one should keep several images on hand because it may be necessary to restore back further than just the most recent backup (it's called versioning). I do agree that backups should be verified, which is why I have Macrium Reflect verify my System images immediately after they are made and hacked FreeFileSync to verify the data backups it makes.

    Yep pretty easy to verify images with macrium :)
    Also make 2 recovery devices cd and usb for good measure
    After my new lg blu-ray dvd drive eat one of my 7 install disks I have no faith in it anymore
