    Needed: A stop-print utility

From time to time, I start a print job that I want to stop in a hurry.

Microsoft's "solution," which involves multiple clicks and choices, works--but I could waste at least 6 sheets of paper getting there. Does anyone make a desktop utility that could stop printing with a single click?

I'd prefer a separate one for each of my two printers, but could live with a shared one.

    Hello Newmaven, :)

You might see if the Print Queue shortcut in the tutorial below may help some to speed up canceling the print job.

Option One in the tutorial below to reset the print spooler may also work as a quick way to stop and clear all print jobs.

If Brink's options don't work (like they don't work for me), the only thing that does work for me is to press and hold the power switch on my printer, forcing the power to switch off in the middle of a print job, even with a spooled print queue.
