Alienware Command Center Keeps Setting Off UAC in Windows 7.

Hello.

Most of my posts are related to the same thing. Long story short, had a BSOD-related problem that has now been solved. Well, my Alienware Command Center software, for some reason, keeps making my UAC pop up. This never happened before and I'm wondering if I should just uninstall it and reinstall it? I'm afraid to do this, however, since I might delete an important feature of my Alienware X51 and I don't want to have to deal with any further problems with this PC.

The UAC prompt pops up, I am asked if the program should make changes to the HDD and then it acts normal. This has never happened before and only comes up when I play a game that can change the profiles of the Alienware light system (APB: Reloaded for example).

Turns out that the certificate for the program was revoked by Dell, so a UAC prompts comes up because Windows 7 is asking if I should allow the program to run with a revoked certificate.

Setting the window icon for a command prompt window
I have a set of scheduled tasks, all of which run programs written in Open Object REXX. Consequently, the Command Prompt windows where these tasks runs inherit their icons (at the top left of the window) from the rexx.exe program that handles my scripts. This means that all of these REXX tasks...

I live in the Linux world, so this might be a stupid question to Windows users. I need to set an environmental variable. I know I can do this through the control panel, but what a pain in the ass. If I open a command prompt and use the "set" command, the variable seems to last only as long as...
