Itunes update, now theres two taskbar icons.

Hi i am running windows 7 ultimate and since i upgraded to the new iTunes the taskbar icons have changed.

Normally i would click itunes and it would load up and when i minimise it to the taskbar and re open it it would just open up in the one taskbar,

now once i open iTunes the pinned iTunes icon does nothing and another one appears.

My question is how do i get this back to the old way,

i hope people understand what im trying to say.

    Regards Paul

    Hi Paul,

You have to open up itunes so both icons are showing, then right click on the new one, the one that's focused on itunes, and click Pin this to taskbar. Then right click on the old one, and unpin it from the taskbar. It should fix it.

This solved the problem for me as well but the new icon cannot be changed. The usual Right-click > properties > change icon does not work. Is there any way to change it?

Go to Program Files (x86) Itunes-right click on the itunes, and send to Desktop (create shortcut), use that as the shorcut. You should be able to change the properties (icon) from that one.
